Types of Cutting Ring Fittings at Ancotech

Ancotech Lubrication Technology offers a wide range of cutting ring fittings according to DIN 2353 standards.

Light, Standard, or Heavy Series

Cutting ring fittings are divided into three series, depending on application and operating conditions. The most important considerations are the diameter and working pressure of your existing system. Use these criteria to select the appropriate pipes and cutting ring fittings.

• Light L Series
  Designed for low working pressures and thinner wall thicknesses of pipes. The light series is marked with the code "LL" and has a maximum working pressure of PN 100 bar.

• Standard L Series
  Typically used for moderate working pressures and standard wall thicknesses. This series is marked with "L" and can handle pressures up to PN 500/100 (6L/42L) bar, depending on the size.

• Heavy S Series
  Recommended for pulsing conditions and/or higher pressures. The heavy series is marked with "S" and supports conical threaded connections up to a maximum of 630 bar for metallic or elastomeric seals.

These cutting ring fittings are also suitable for polyamide tubing PA12HL. For tubing sizes 4x1 and 6x1.5, a support sleeve is not required.
